Important decision regarding our legacy portal – https://portal.iamcloud.net
We have recently experienced a series of issues with Google incorrectly classifying our legacy Portal ( https://portal.iamcloud.net ) as unsafe, meaning it was not accessible as expected via the Chrome and Firefox browsers. Although we have provided timely feedback by all available means during these three incidents, this has not resolved the issue satisfactorily and there remains a risk of recurrence.
As well as the impact on our v2 customer base, this has become a frustrating distraction to our team. Our goal is to maintain development focus on our new Iris Portal, cloud platform and CDM v3 for our customers and partners, rather than attending to automated & inaccurate site classifications for components of our legacy architecture which have limited lifespan.
So, we have made an executive decision to deprovision our old Portal, and we have a new way for supporting Cloud Drive Mapper v2 instead.
You have a couple of options:
- If you are wanting to continue adding/changing mappings in CDM V2, we have created a ‘legacy mode’ for our new Iris portal, that allows you to manage CDM V2 from Iris. This won’t be on by default, so has to be requested – contact support@iamcloud.com with a request to enable legacy mode.
- If you aren’t planning on changing V2 settings, but would like to view them as a reference to help setup your V3 mappings, we won’t enable legacy mode, but instead will provide a document to you with all the groups and mappings
For either of these options, please contact support@iamcloud.com and we’ll be glad to help out.
For our old IAM Cloud SSO/Authentication customers who used the legacy Portal’s password reset functionality for users, we are working on some tooling to support this too – please contact support@iamcloud.com for more information.
