11 September 2017 – Major Release

We’re now in the process of completing a major upgrade to all main stacks of the IAM Cloud authentication service. All stacks except Stack 02 (EU) are now using the latest authentication service (28.5.0.9). The Stack 02 (EU) authentication upgrade is going live on the 12th September.

The upgrade sees us move our authentication service and API to the latest DotNET Framework enabling not only greater performance but live debugging capabilities across all components of the IAM Cloud platform, meaning identifying and resolving customers issues will be significantly better.

The move will also enable a significantly more streamlined process for onboarding and federation applications with our platform.

This is an upgrade that greatly simplifies our Architecture and our release process ensuring a much more robust, performant and reliable platform.
Our Authentication Stacks in the US are performing authentications in approximately 25% of the time they did pre-release – which is a major performance improvement. And customer feedback has been excellent so far on the improved stability and performance of the platform.

A number bugs will also be resolved including:

  • Issues with Single Sign-On in Office apps
